What is included in a comprehensive eye examination?

The comprehensive eye examination includes standard dilatation (including refraction), and a contact lens fitting (including follow-ups or training if needed). The tests included in the comprehensive examination also includes screening for cataract, corneal ulcer, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and more.

How long does a comprehensive eye examination take?

An eye examination is carried out by an Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist and usually takes about 15-30 minutes. Sometimes it can take longer if you need extra tests, but this is to make sure you can see as good as possible.
